Wales Dominate In Bath

Team Wales took over the Bath Grand Prix this weekend with a variety of wins throughout the various categories.

On day 1 the wins and runner up in the bands just kept coming. Marc Castro and Lauren Stacey reached the men’s and women’s finals of the respective Band 4s. Callum Evans notched up yet more band 2 and band 1 wins for the double on the day. Anna Hursey just missed out on her double losing in the band 2 final but winning the band 1 later in the afternoon. Joseph Roberts made R/up in band 5 to crown a great ‘red’ day.

On Day 2 it was Gold in the women’s singles and U21s for Anna, which got her a nice triple of titles from her weekend. Callum Evans reached the semis of the Men’s Open losing to Tian Liam Yiu. Lara Whitton reached the final of the U21 women’s singles losing to team mate Anna. Callum added the U21 men’s title to his collection which also meant he had a nice triple of his own to bring over the bridge.
