Ruby Double Winner!

International Primary School Championships 2019 (Belfast)

Team Event:

The Girls team, consisting of Ruby Elliott, Sasha Lewis, Seren Jones & Lily Elliott, come away with a bronze medals losing out to strong teams from England and Ireland 

The Boys team finished in 5th place on count back which was very close. Eli’s O’Connor, Toby Harwood, Harri Palfrey and Evan Williams fought together all weekend.

Individuals:

In the singles event Ruby Elliot come away with the title for the second time beating Hannah Silcock in the final 3-1 to add to her 2018 success.

Seren Jones and Sasha Lewis lost in the quarter Finals in the main draw, whilst 8 year old Lily Elliot lost in the quarter finals of the consolation. 

Evan Williams lost to the eventual winner in the Quarter Finals of the main draw whilst Toby Harwood beat both Harri Palfrey and Elis O’Connor on the way to securing a silver Medal in the Consolation. 

Overall a great weekend, players were very professional and come away with valuable experiences.
