European Elite Gather in Cluj

The City of Cluj-Napoca in Romania will host the 61st ETTU European Youth Championships

 

Wales are sending 10 players and 3 coaches to the competition starting on July 15th

 

Commonwealth Bronze Medal winner Josh Stacey leads the Junior Boys team with Welsh Champion Benedict Watson and Welsh number 3 Yameen Al-Dahiri joining him. Beth Richards, Grace Clement and Lauren Stacey make up the Welsh Junior Girls team with all 3 enjoying success on the English circuit in recent months.

Louie Evans, fresh from his 1 Gold and 2 Silver medals at the National Championships earlier this month partners with Ben Allen, who himself has had success at recent competitions, in the cadet boys team. Anna Hursey, who reached the final 16 at this weeks Polish Youth Open joins Lara Whitton, who picked up great wins at the Nottingham GP, in the Cadet girls section.

The tournament runs from 15-24th July and results will be available on www.ettu.org  throughout
