Day 2 Brings Medals

After a tough friendly match vs Scotland yesterday, it was all change on day 2 in Perth.

Yameen Al- Dahiri started the medal haul in claiming the Junior Boys title. Beth Roberts added a Gold in the Women’s Open beating Alisha Khalid in the final.

In the Men ‘s band 1 Final, Yameen had to settle for a silver as he lost to team mate Marc Castro 3/1 won collected Gold. Beth collected her second medal of the day winning the Gold in the band 1 women. It was another all Welsh final as she beat Lydia John.

A silver was won by Lydia in the Junior Girls singles as she lost out to Fay Leggett in a tough encounter. There were good performances from both Morgan Day Davies and Rashad Al-Dahiri throughout the weekend.
