Cardiff City Open

Joseph Roberts collected both the Cadet and Junior singles today at the Cardiff City Open. In the Cadet singles Joseph, from Cardiff, beat Ben Allen (Blaenavon) and in the Junior singles he was victorious against Jack O’Duffy (Cardiff).

Jamie-Lee Harley (Ael y Bryn) won the Junior girls beating Lauren Stacey (Cardiff) in the final, but Lauren did collect the cadet girls beating Morgan Day-Davies (Bridgend) to the title. Evan O’Connor (Cowbridge) won the U13 trophy by beating Oscar Marriott (Bridgend).

Frenchman Giovanni Le Borgne (who plays for Cardiff City in the British League) beat Swansea’s Marc Castro in the final match.
