20 primary school teams made the trip to Sport Wales National Centre to take part in the first Welsh Primary Schools Championships since February 2019.

During the day, over 40 primary school children took to the tables and enjoyed a day of competing against other schools from across Wales. Each school team played 8 matches during the day with support and inspiration from some of the Welsh National Squad players who where present to support the young children and provide some guidance thought he day.
School teams from Beaufort Hill, Bishop Childs , Christ the King, Treodyrhiw, Cwmlai, Litchard, Llangan, Pen-y-Fai, Williamstown and Hamadryad all gained valuable experience after having a day full of table tennis, but it was Cwmlai A who came away with the top spot. A pairing of young Oliver Harvey and Dylan Williams managed to win all their games to claim the Welsh Primary School Trophy for their school.
