Veterans Competing For Glory!

The Veteran Team Championships of Wales makes its way to North Wales for the penultimate weekend of the season. Bangor University will play host for the final rounds of matches for the first time in the competition’s history.

It’s all to play for in the final weekend in the Premier Division, as it hangs in the balance with just two points separating the top four teams. Gwent C lead the way just one point above last year’s champions Cardiff A, whilst Amlwch A and Gwent A sit just one point behind in third place.

Swansea A, Swansea B and Gwent B will look to pick up valuable points to hold onto their Premier Division status and avoid relegation to Division One.

Swansea C sit at the top of Division One moving into this coming weekend’s rounds, as they look to secure promotion and return to the Premier Division. Wrexham will look to secure promotion in their first season competing in the Veteran Team Championships for many years as they sit just a point adrift of top spot. Gwent D will look to spoil proceedings and move into the promotional spots as they sit just two points of the league leaders.
