TTW sad to hear of passing of George Evans

Table Tennis Wales Wales was saddened to hear of the passing of lengendary Table Tennis player George Evans.

George was a past TTW chair and is the current TTW president and he was also the past national representative for the Swaythling Club. He won numerous Welsh Senior and Veteran Championships and in 2003 he won the European Men’s Champion in Bratislava.

George also played in the German Bundesliga for many years during his younger days. He is one of the most successful men’s table tennis player Wales has produced as he achieved success in all age categories of the game.
