Since 2023, the organisation has been sponsoring Anna Hursey, supporting the Welsh star in her exciting career to date. 

“In late 2023 and in conjunction with our client, Table Tennis Wales, we identified and agreed to sponsor Anna Hursey, a rising young star in Welsh Table Tennis,” Paddy Charlton, Head of Business Development at Sportscover Europe, told us. 

“Then aged 17, Anna is thought to be the youngest person to represent Wales at senior level in any sport. She was only 10 when she competed for Wales in a European Championship qualification match against Kosovo back in 2017.  

“Since then, we at Sportscover Europe have cheered her progress all the way to Olympic qualification for Paris in 2024. This sponsorship and partnership reenforces and strengthens ours and Table Tennis Wales’ commitment in identifying and nurturing young talent and developing and inspiring the next generation.
