Table Tennis Wales selects Cloudathlete to power its digital infrastructure
Table Tennis Wales is delighted to announce Cloudathlete as its new Digital Infrastructure Partner.
The partnership will see Cloudathlete provide a unified system to support Table Tennis Wales’ membership management, events, communications and organisational operations – creating a more connected and future-ready ecosystem for table tennis across Wales.
Building on Strong Foundations
Table Tennis Wales already operates TT Leagues, the league management platform built in partnership with Table Tennis England (TTE). The integration of Cloudathlete alongside TT Leagues ensures continuity in competition management while expanding TTW’s digital capabilities across the wider organisation.
Together the platforms will create a seamless infrastructure that connects national governance, league management and club-level activity within a cohesive digital environment.
A Modern Infrastructure for a Modern Governing Body
As National Governing Bodies face increasing pressure to deliver seamless digital experiences for clubs, players, coaches, officials and volunteers, Table Tennis Wales has taken a proactive step to modernise its systems.
Through Cloudathlete, TTW will benefit from:
- Centralised membership management
- Integrated event workflows
- Enhanced communication tools (broadcast and marketing)
- Secure online payments
- Data visualisation and reporting
- Structured digital environments for affiliated clubs
The move reflects a wider shift across sport towards scalable digital infrastructure that reduces administrative burden while improving participant experience.
Empowering Clubs Across Wales
A key benefit of the partnership is the ability for affiliated clubs to operate within their own secure environments – effectively giving each club a dedicated digital workspace aligned to the national body.
Clubs will be able to:
- Manage their own members
- Communicate directly with players and parents
- Build and deploy forms
- Access reporting tools
- Process payments securely
- Optionally deploy their own CMS-powered websites
This federated structure ensures national oversight while empowering clubs with professional-grade tools to operate independently.
Leadership Perspective
Marc Rocca, Founder of Cloudathlete, commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Table Tennis Wales to the Cloudathlete community. The fact that TTW already uses TT Leagues provides a strong competitive foundation. By extending that ecosystem into wider digital infrastructure, TTW is creating a connected environment that supports leagues, clubs and members in a coherent way.
“This is about enabling growth, improving governance and making the experience of table tennis in Wales simpler and more accessible for everyone involved.”
Owen Rogers, CEO at Table Tennis Wales added:
“Modern, reliable digital systems are critical to how we support clubs and members. Cloudathlete provides the flexibility and capability we need to streamline operations and strengthen engagement across Welsh table tennis.”
Supporting the Future of Welsh Table Tennis
With increasing demand for secure, accessible and scalable systems, this partnership positions us to support our community with modern infrastructure designed for long-term growth.
