Selections For European ITTF Events in Czech, Sweden & Italy

Selections have been made for 3 European competitions which take place in the first 3 months of 2020

First up is the ITTF Czech Youth Open, taking place in Hodonin. Anna Hursey returns to action for Wales after a stint in China training fulltime. She will be joined by Lara Whitton who has won the 2 Junior competitions on offer so far this season (Cardiff & North Gwent). Louie Evans, who won the recent North Gwent Open goes to Hodonin in the Junior Boys section. Rhys Hetherton, who tops the cadet ranking list is also on the flight to Czech.

Anna will spend time in Eslov training before competing at the Swedish Youth Open which takes place in Orebro. The top European player will hope to re-establish her ranking to the level expected against some of the top players in the world.

Next stop is Lignano in Italy where Anna will head to for her third event in the calendar. She will be joined by Ruby Elliott, Lowri Hurd, Danielle Kelly, Beth Richards and Lara Whitton. All girls have been successful over a number of competitions in Wales & UK in recent months.
