Another Dragon, different location. This time the competition rolled into Ystrad, home of Rhondda TTC for the first time.
In the U9 section, Seren Jones won yet another event beating Lily Elliott (2nd and Amilie David (3rd) to the top spot. Seren has been prolific in this category since the start of the new series.
Dan Mead beat fellow clubmate Darcey Taylor in the U11 competition to add vital points to his tally. In the U13 it was a familiar winner in Jack Palfrey. He defeated Toby Harwood in the final to add to the Ael y Bryn success last month.
The Open singles saw 2 ex Welsh Internationals reach the final in Chris Griffiths & Ethan Davies. Both are current coaches at Rhondda TTC and products of the successful Greenhouse project which began in the early 2000s. On this occasion Chris won the prize pot and the title on offer.
The Dragon series stops off in Swansea in 2 weeks for the final event before the finals in Cardiff on Friday 28th Feb (U9, U11, U13 only) – There is still a few days left to enter Swansea so be quick if you haven’t done it yet.
