National Coach Stephen Jenkins added to Summer School
The response for the inaugural Table Tennis Wales Summer camp, having now been out 3 weeks, has been fantastic! With over 20 players already having signed up to attend the camp at Sport Wales from 16th-18th of August from not just Wales but all over the UK! Open to all ages for league level players, the 3 days will give players the opportunity to experience what our national team squad’s players get with top class coaching from our team of international coaches. It will cover a wide range of areas sure to help improve your game and using modern coaching techniques such as game-based practices, video analysis and multi ball, while players attending all 3 days will also get a 1-2-1 with a member of the coaching team and a player profile.
The Camp now has even more distinction with confirmation that Welsh National Coach Stephen Jenkins, fresh from the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham, his 6th as a player and coach, will now be in attendance for the first two days of the camp. As a player, Steve won over 20 National titles including 2 men’s singles titles and two Commonwealth medals.
With less than 10 spaces left, if you’re interested in attending act fast to avoid missing out.
