Medals in Czech

Josh Stacey added more medals to his ever increasing tally with a Silver in the Class 9 singles, plus Gold in the team with Ashley Facey Thompson.

Topping his group in the singles, Josh then beat fellow Team mate Thompson in the semis 3/1. The final was against Spaniard Perez Gonzalez and the Welshman lost 3/1.

In the team event, Stacey & Thompson beat all 4 opponents to claim Gold.

Rob Davies won the bronze after losing to Kim of Korea 3/0 in the Class 1 semi finals. Tom Matthews lost in the Q-Finals to the same opponent 3/1. Paul Davies did beat Kim in the group stages but another loss meant the Class 1 star lost out on countback and didn’t progress.
