Defeat for Welsh Champion Charlotte Carey at the ITTF German Open yesterday, which is being held at the Ge-Tec arena in Magdeburg

Carey, ranked currently at number 159 on the ITTF world rankings lost 4/1 to the higher ranked Hungarian Dora Madarasz (who is at number 64)

Next week the tour heads to Granada, Spain where Charlotte will join both Callum Evans and Marc Castro in qualifying rounds
