In Memory of Jules Mitchell-Dawson and Sue Phillips

Table Tennis Wales is saddened to hear of the passing of Jules-Mitchell Dawson and Sue Phillips from within the Table Tennis community.

Jules Mitchell-Dawson

Jules of Saron, near Denbigh was a qualified Table Tennis umpire and a regular sight at the National Veterans Championships. Alongside his wife Kath (nee Banks) Jules also ran the Denbigh Table Tennis Club. Jules passed away on Friday 29th May 2019 at the Plas Gwyn Nursing Home aged 76 years. The funeral service will be held at St. Dyfnog’s Church Llanrhaeadr on Saturday, June 8th 2019 at 12 noon. Jules will be sadly missed and our thoughts and best wishes go to Kath and the family.

Sue Phillips

Twin sisters Angharad and Megan Phillips (credit: North Wales Post)

Sue was mother to Welsh players Angharad and Megan who were regulars in the Welsh team and represented Wales at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Sue passed away peacefully at home in Denbigh at the end of May and TTW sends our condolences to Angharad and Megan and their father Tegid.
