Ann Craft Trust Safeguarding Adults in Sport

As part of Sport Wales commitment to Safeguarding, we will be arranging two Online Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshops and one Safeguarding Adults in Sport Workshop which will be free to access for Coaches and Volunteers in Wales.

These interactive online workshops will help you recognise and respond to concerns a child or adult may be experiencing, or be at risk of experiencing, harm, neglect, or abuse. You will learn the importance of person-centred care and taking an individualised approach to your coaching practice, that puts the child or young person at the heart of every session.

Through interactive scenarios and discussions with people from different sports and activities, you will have the opportunity explore the consequences of those decisions in a safe and supportive environment, helping to increase your confidence to deal with safeguarding issues effectively, so to have a positive impact on the physical or mental health of children in Wales.

This event is free but you will need to register to book your place. If you register and cannot make it, please let us know so we can invite another delegate in your place.
