Belgium Bound

Beth Richards is the latest player to sign for a foreign club for next season. The Tonyrefail star has put pen to paper with PW Diest in the Belgium League in a 12 month agreement.

PW Diest Chairman Dirk Janssens on the news, “We are delighted to sign and welcome Beth to our club alongside Lara Whitton. The relationship with PW Diest and Wales continues to prosper. These are unusual times with what we have seen in 2020 and we hope things can return to normal soon for our club and the members”.

Beth is delighted with the move, “I’ve always wanted to play in a foreign league so this is another goal towards selection for major competitions in the coming years. I can’t wait to get back playing and improve on my game. The Belgium league is a great standard and PW Diest is a great club from what I have heard”.
