Cardiff GP – Day 1 Report

A Mollie Patterson double was the result of day 1 at the Cardiff Grand Prix as she beat Hui Li Tay in both finals. The competition, which is held at Sport Wales National Centre, has attracted players from all over Europe. Arthur Bialek of Poland beat Tonyrefail’s Callum Evans in the Band 1 final. Callum did end up Band 2 winner earlier in the morning beating Zoltan Hosszu (HUN). Joseph Roberts & Paul Karabardak defeated the field in Band’s 5& 6 for some home success.
