Out At the Q-Finals

Anna Hursey and Lara Whitton made it through to the Q-Finals of the Cadet Girls Team today losing to the mixed team of Croatia & Hungary. Both opponents rank inside the top 10 in Europe (Number 2 & 4) and are seeded number 2 in Metz this week. Anna was unbeaten throughout the day with Lara picking up vital wins to add.

The cadet boys of Louie Evans & Rhys Hetherton plus our junior teams all battled bravely but were unable to make headway into the knockout rounds. A mention to Benedict Watson and Cade Short for wins vs Mongolia in their final match this afternoon.

Cadet singles starts at 9am tomorrow. That’s it for our juniors for this competition.
