New Look National Squads

Welsh Squad

Applications are open for the 2018/2019 National Performance squad. The squad will come together every Tuesday evening from 5-8pm, with the first session on the 4th September.  I only have 10 places available so the application process will be very competitive.

The programme will have a focus to winning at UK level and beyond. The athletes selected will need to demonstrate good results outside of Wales and they are looking to progress further to fulltime players in our sport.   Athletes who don’t make initial cut will be on a reserve list and asked to continue training at their clubs and work towards the level expected in this group.

Successful applicants can keep their place if they continue to produce required results and have the correct level of fitness, attitude and dedication towards training/competitions.

Decisions will be made by Monday 6th August
