ETTU Eurotalents Training Camp

Welsh Players Gain Valuable Experience at ETTU Eurotalents Training Camp

Last week 4 Welsh players attended the ETTU U15 & U17 Eurotalents Training Camp in Vila Nova, Portugal. The camp, which saw 36 players and 15 coaches from 13 European Countries in attendance, provided Harri Docherty, Ruby Elliott, Darcey Taylor and Lowri Hurd the opportunity to train with some of the best players in their age groups across Europe and gain valuable input from the coaches.

Swansea Development Officer Matthew Porter was at the camp with the team and had the following to say, “It was a really great week with lots of high quality players and coaches in attendance and was great to see our players participating at this high level. Each session offered our players plenty of new learning experiences which will certainly put them in a good place to continue their development with new skills and qualities. The camp also provided a great opportunity for players to create contacts with players in other nations as well as giving me the opportunity to network with other coaches, create contacts and share experiences which will be fed back into the coaching team”.
