Board Questions and Answer Sessions

It’s been a challenging past 6 months for the table tennis community with the onset of coronavirus and the country going into a national lockdown. The Board and staff team have worked hard throughout this period to keep in touch with players whilst also putting together the necessary policies and support packages to bring back both the community and elite game safely.

We’re conscious that we’ve had to spend a lot of time and effort in responding to this global pandemic and and want to reinvigorate our engagement with our members, players, clubs/leagues. In order to address this, the TTW Board and staff welcome you to attend a range of virtual Questions and Answer Sessions that we are planning to hold throughout the next few months. To follow up a recent Performance session held with Welsh squad players/parents, the first batch of sessions will be held in October and will cover the following:

Monday 19th October 7-9pm- Communities & Safeguarding: covering the work done so far on returning clubs and competitions and plans for the future. The latest developments on our safeguarding work.

Wednesday 21st 7-9pm – TTW Future Direction & Strategy: covering the latest changes in the TTW strategy and delivery within a changing funding landscape and current conditions.

Thursday 22nd October 12-2pm- Governance & Finance: covering the developments that have been made in TTW against the Governance and Leadership Framework for Wales and the challenges and opportunities financially.

These are open to all of the table tennis community and you can attend as many sessions as you wish. To access the meeting link please register your interest by Tuesday 13th October 2020 on this Booking Link or using this QR Code
